About the Body Gourmand Cocoa Balm

This organic body balm is a rich moisturiser for dry skin areas, for mum & bub, and for sun-damaged skin and lips. It has a very smooth texture and it smells like chocolate! 

It does not contain essential oils, so it's perfect for pregnant or breastfeeding women, sensitive skins, and for babies and children.

It's also free of sweet almond oil to make it suitable for babies or children with topical almond allergies. 

Texture:

Smooth, solid texture. Easy to apply and deliciously melts on the skin.

Scent:

It smells like a bar of chocolate with a hint of coffee! We used the natural organic oils in the formula to give it that unique, yummy smell.

No added fragrances, no essential oils.

Appearance: 

Yellow, sometimes with a "frosted" appearance on top depending on the batch.

About the ingredients

Body Gourmand contains highly moisturising ingredients.

Shea butter has been used in Africa and other countries for years to improve skin and hair. Shea Butter has great moisturising and nourishing properties, plus it also protects the skin from UV radiations thanks to the Cinnamic Acid and Vitamin A it contains (SPF 4-6). Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory properties and helps with skin repair, making it a great natural product to apply on sunburn.

Mango butter is obtained by extracting the content of the mango seed and cold-pressing it into a creamy butter. Mango butter is an effective moisturiser, full of vitamin E that could help protect your skin from environmental stressors like sunlight and pollution. Mango butter also contains high concentrations of Vitamin C, which research shows stimulates the production of collagen. 

Mango butter is often included as an ingredient in chocolates and other snacks. 

Ucuuba butter gives the balm its unique "chocolate-like" scent. Native to Central and South America, Ucuuba Butter is a natural butter cold-pressed from the seeds of the Ucuuba tree. It is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids and is often used to replenish, tone, and moisturise dry and mature skin. 

How to use on...

Dry skin, hands & lips: warm in your hands and apply on dry areas.

Sun-damaged skin: apply on skin morning and night until the skin is fully repaired.

Mums: apply on areas prone to stretch marks and on sore nipples after breastfeeding.

Bubs: for eczema-prone babies, or for bubs with very dry skin, apply at every nappy change on dry skin areas.

In case of nappy rash, clean skin with water and apply on little bum before putting a new nappy on.

About the Green Lagoon Tahitian Tamanu Oil

This organic body balm is a rich moisturiser for dry skin areas, for mum & bub, and for sun-damaged skin and lips. The natural green colour of the balm comes from the pure Tahitian Tamanu Oil we use in the formula. This oil is a wonderful moisturiser known for its skin repairing properties. It's often used to prevent stretch marks and improve scars.

The Green Lagoon balm does not contain essential oils, so it's perfect for pregnant or breastfeeding women, sensitive skins, and for babies and children.

It's also free of sweet almond oil to make it suitable for babies or children with topical almond allergies. 

Texture:

Smooth, soft texture that melts on the skin. 

Scent:

Light herbal scent, unique to Tamanu Oil. No artificial fragrances and no essential oils.

Green Lagoon is the essential-oil free version of our body balm, Emerald Shores. The base formulation is the same, the only difference is that we add essential oils in the Emerald Shores balm.

About the ingredients

Green Lagoon's core ingredient is the skin reparing Tahitian Tamanu Oil, and it also contains moisturising shea butter and mango butter.

Tamanu oil is known for its skin repairing properties. It's often used to soothe and repair stretch marks, scars and areas prone to irritation and redness. It's also a popular ingredient in eczema treatments.

Tamanu oil comes from the nuts of a tropical tree called Calophyllum inophyllum, which is native to the South Pacific islands but can also be found in Southeast Asia, India, and parts of Africa and Australia.

Jojoba Oil is one of the best vegetable oils for the face, as it is suitable for all skin types and it does not obstruct pores.  The One + Nature Jojoba Oil helps to balance sebum production, thus reducing oiliness and helping with acne. It is easily absorbed by the skin, due to its close chemical resemblance with natural sebum.

The One + Nature organic Jojoba Oil can be used to moisturise daily, remove make-up, soften beard hair, cleanse skin and massage bub's soft skin. It's one of our most popular multi-purpose essentials for the skin.

You can combine the One + Nature organic Jojoba Oil with clay to cleanse and detox your skin. The easier way to combine those two products is by making a weekly face mask:

• Mix half a teaspoon of Jojoba oil with 2 teaspoons of One + Nature Rhassoul Moroccan clay (also included in this gift hamper), add water until obtaining a spreadable paste.

Apply the mask once a week, leave for 10 minutes and wash. Apply pure Jojoba oil after to moisturise your skin.

BEARD OIL

Massage 3 drops into your beard to soften beard hair and moisturise the skin beneath.

BABY'S OIL

About the ONE pure organic Sweet Almond Oil

Almond Oil has excellent emollient properties, which makes it the perfect vegetable body oil for very dry skins.

The One + Nature premium Sweet Almond Oil is very rich and penetrates the skin slowly. It’s also an amazing moisturiser for dry areas of the body, such as hands and feet. Sweet almond oil is the most popular base oil for massages and is often used by pregnant women to prevent the itching and progression of stretch marks.

Historically, Almond Oil has even been used in Ancient Chinese, Ayurvedic and Greco-Persian schools of Medicine to treat dry skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.

BODY MOISTURISER

Warm a few drops on your hands and massage dry skin areas, such as hands and feet.

STRETCH MARKS / PREGNANCY DRY or ITCHY SKIN

Sweet Almond Oil helps to prevent the itching and progression of stretch marks.

Simply apply it twice a day on your belly and breast areas that are prone to stretch marks.

MASSAGE and BATH OIL

Almond oil is the most widely used base for massage.

It can be used pure, or you can also make a beautiful massage and bath oil. Simply:

• Mix 2 teaspoons of Almond Oil with 4 drops of your favourite essential oil OR pour 10 drops of your favourite essential oil in the 30 ml Sweet Almond Oil bottle 
• Use as massage oil or add a few drops in the bath.

As essential oils are not suitable for pregnant/breastfeeding women and babies, we recommend using the oil pure (without essential oils) in case of pregnancy/breastfeeding or for young children and babies.

How to make a face mask (for deep cleansing):

Pour one tablespoon of clay in a bowl. Slowly add water to it until it forms a paste that is easy to apply on your skin. Apply on the face avoiding eyes and mouth. Rinse after 10 minutes and apply a moisturiser or pure organic Jojoba Oil. Use once a week or as needed.

How to make a daily cleanser (for light cleansing): 

Pour half a teaspoon of clay in your hand, add water from the tap to form a watery paste, apply on skin avoiding the eyes and mouth, and rinse straight away. Use morning and night as the first step in your routine.
