Enjoy a zesty and reflective moment with this perfume oil made with Yuzu and Vetiver in a base of organic camellia oil.

This beautiful oil is truly multi-purpose! It can be used as a face & body moisturising oil, as perfume on the body & hair, as beard oil, as leave-in hair conditioner and it can also be added in small quantities to perfume your bath or to perfume your favourite face and body oils.

Scent: cologne-like fresh, citrusy and earthy, with strong vetiver notes and zesty hints of yuzu, with floral Geranium and woody Cedarwood undertones.

Main note: Vetiver smells dry, earthy, woody, leathery and smoky. We lifted this base note with Japanese yuzu essential oil, and added colour with violet leaf absolute, and essential oils of geranium and cedarwood.

MOISTURISING OIL for FACE & BODY

The One + Nature SHINTO perfume oil is suitable for all dry skin areas of your face or body. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend diluting it (please see perfume oil information below).

Warm a few drops in your hands, massage and moisturise dry skin areas.

PERFUME OIL

Add a few drops to your favourite pure face, hair or body oil to perfume it. For instance, you can add 5 drops of One + Nature SHINTO perfume oil in a 30 mL bottle of pure organic jojoba, argan or sweet almond oil.

You can also apply this gorgeous perfume oil pure on areas of the body you'd like to perfume.

BATH OIL

Pour 5 drops into the bath water to perfume it.

BEARD OIL

Massage 3 drops into your beard to soften beard hair.

LEAVE-IN HAIR CONDITIONER

Apply on dry ends to nourish and repair damaged, dry hair.

  • Dry hair: warm a few drops in your hands and apply on dry parts of the hair 4 hours before your shampoo (or leave overnight). Wash your hair with shampoo and rinse. Your hair should feel light, clean and soft.
  • Very dry hair: if the perfume oil absorbs quickly into your hair, you can also use it after your shampoo. Simply apply it on wet or dry clean hair (after shampoo) and leave it. If your hair feels oily using this method, it means you'll have to use the perfume oil before your shampoo (see above)
  • Very very dry, thick hair: use the oil every day when getting ready in the morning. Apply a few drops on dry parts of the hair. If your hair feels oily using this method, it means you'll have to use the perfume oil before your shampoo (see above).

    What is Shinto?

    Shinto is a Japanese natural religion and its practitioners believe that nature and the natural world is an embodiment of divinity and sacredness.

    A polytheistic and animistic religion, Shinto revolves around supernatural entities called the kami. The kami are believed to inhabit all things, including forces of nature and prominent landscape locations.

    The One + Nature SHINTO perfume oil is inspired by the smell of trees and wood at traditional Japanese temples.

    Great news, our labels are made of sustainably-sourced paper and they are biodegradable and recyclable.
    Labels are usually made of plastic which gives them a great look but they also have a polluting impact on the environment.

    All our labels are printed in Australia.

    The bottle and black cap can be recycled or re-used.

    To re-use your bottle, simply wash it and then disinfect it with rubbing alcohol or leave it in boiling water for 10 minutes (glass bottle only).

    The oil dropper can only be recycled in certain areas - check with your local Council. We encourage you to keep it and re-use it with your next bottle.

    This perfume oil is organic, so no harmful chemicals have been used to grow and harvest the ingredients we used.

    Being a natural product, the ONE + NATURE SHINTO perfume oil is also fully biodegradable.

    For dry or mature skin types, face or body.

    For sensitive skins: we recommend using the perfume oil on body only due to the high concentration of essential oils in the product. If you'd like to use it on the face, mix it in either pure jojoba or argan oil to dilute it. Use 5 to 10 drops in 30 mL.

    For dry and very dry hair types.

    The majority of skincare products use plastic labels. These also end up in landfil or break down in the ocean into micro-plastics. That's why all our labels are made of sustainably-sourced paper and are recyclable and biodegradable.
